Elastic deformations distribution in laterally bent conical nanowires

چکیده

The elastic deformations in the conical nanowires are considered. An analytical expression was obtained for distribution of along length nanowire. It found that at certain cone angles nanowire there is an extended area sufficiently high comparable or even large than deformation base So, example, when bending (conical coefficient a=-0.7) with L=1 μm and radius R=50 nm by Delta z=200 nm, maximum values ε xx,max =8%, while more 95% deformed >3%.
